About Fitler Square
The name "Fitler Square" is also used to describe the neighborhood surrounding the square, which is limited to about half of the 21st Street of the East, the Schuylkill River is the north west of Locust Street and South Street on the south. Fitler Square was named for the 19th Philadelphia at the end of the century, Mayor Edwin Henry Fitler.
